Neurophysiopalogy
Dr. Nadia Bovina is a doctor of neurophysiopathology techniques at Life Clinic.
With more than two decades of experience gained in various hospitals, after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bologna and did his internship in facilities of excellence such as Bellaria Hospital, Maggiore Hospital, Policlinico Sant'Orsola-Malpighi and the IRCSS Neurological Clinic. His thesis, done in collaboration with the Luca De Nigris House of Awakenings, explored the use of neurophysiological techniques in patients awakening from coma.
During his career he has worked in first-level hospitals: initially in Reggio Emilia at Arcispedale Santa Maria Nuova, then in Bergamo at Ospedali Riuniti, where he developed specific expertise in the neonatal setting. From 2011 until May 2025 she worked at the Bolognini Hospital in Seriate, where she was certified in Doppler Neurosonology (supra-aortic and transcranial trunks) and conducted in-depth studies on movement disorders, particularly tremor. She is co-founder with Dr. Cipriani of NeurophysioLab.
She deals professionally with examinations such as EEG, EMG, evoked potentials and Doppler, including in critical environments such as intensive care and neonatal neurology. She is actively involved in continuing education and scientific outreach: she participates in congresses, is a speaker at specialized events, and is an active member of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC) and AITN (Italian Association of Neurophysiology Technicians).
