Dr. Miriam Fumagalli is a surgeon who earned her degree with honors in Vascular Surgery from the University of Milan. Throughout her professional career, she has developed extensive and comprehensive clinical, diagnostic, and surgical experience, having personally performed over 30,000 color Doppler ultrasound examinations and over 500 phlebological vascular surgery procedures as the lead surgeon.

In terms of education and specialized training, Dr. Fumagalli boasts an outstanding academic background complemented by significant hands-on experience, including a fellowship at the prestigious Vascular Department of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, United States, under the guidance of Dr. Gloviczki, a training program in Interventional Radiology at Niguarda Hospital, and specialized work in Cardiac Intensive Care and Vascular Surgery at the Monzino Cardiology Center in Milan. In recent years, she has expanded her professional scope by combining her vascular expertise with aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments.

Dr. Fumagalli served as an assistant at the Vascular Surgery Unit and the Angiology Unit at Humanitas Gavazzeni Castelli in Bergamo, and since 2022 she has been the coordinator of the Phlebology Surgery Day Hospital, personally performing arterial surgical procedures, traditional surgery, laser treatments, and scleromousse treatments. She currently collaborates with Life Clinicvisite for both specialist consultations and non-invasive diagnostic tests (arterial and venous color Doppler ultrasound of the upper and lower extremities, the supra-aortic trunks (SAT), the abdominal aorta, and the great vessels) as well as for surgical procedures.

In the past, he held a position of significant clinical responsibility at the Beato Luigi Palazzolo Clinic in Bergamo, serving as head of the Vulnology Clinic and as the prescribing physician for the Thrombosis and Oral Anticoagulant Therapy Center (TAO and NAO).

His professional practice is consistently complemented by scientific contributions and the authorship of numerous publications and book chapters on topics such as the endovascular and surgical treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, the interdisciplinary management of diabetic foot, the mechanisms of tissue repair in chronic wounds, and innovations in anticoagulant therapies and venous surgery.
