Ophthalmologist Medical Surgeon
Dr. Caristia Alice is an ophthalmologist at Life Clinic.
In 2012 he received his medical degree from Sacred Heart University in Rome, and in 2018 he specialized in Ophthalmology at the same university.
Dr. Caristia over the course of her career gained extensive surgical experience performing more than 1,500 procedures as a first operator and has expertise in the treatment of keratoconus with corneal cross linking.
Dr. is a Fellow of the ESCRS (European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons).
In June 2016 he came 2nd place for Best Paper of the congress "Our experience in the management of Terson Syndrome" and in September of the same year he won Best Paper in Session "Topoguided refractive CXL" 12th SOU course.
Concluding his professional profile are his numerous appearances at National and International Congresses both as a participant and as a speaker and his various publications in national and international journals
At Life Clinic, Dr. Caristia oversees the outpatient eye clinic and performs major eye surgical procedures.
