Orthopedic Hand Surgeon
Dr. Maggi Roberto is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in hand surgery, at Life Clinic.
He received his medical and surgical degree from the University of Milan in 1987; in 1992, at the same university, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
In 2001, he obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Surgery of the Hand awarded by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Maggi, from 1992 to 2024, practiced at Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo, then at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital. As a result of his work experience, he became referral to the OU of Orthopedics for Hand and Elbow Surgery.
Dr. Maggi over the years has delved into the various problems of hand pathology in Italy, France, England, Germany and the United States, constantly participating in refresher and training courses. He has participated in numerous national and international meetings and congresses both as an auditor and speaker.
His numerous travels and continuing education activities have enabled him to forge relationships with the world's top hand surgery experts. he is an active member of the Italian Neuro-Orthopaedic Group dealing with Spasticity and Tetraplegia Surgery and is leading an innovative project of the SICM (Italian Society for Hand Surgery) Informatics Group, of which he is a member, among others.
