Otolaryngologist
Dr. Massimiliano Nardone is an Otolaryngologist at Life Clinic.
In 1998, he received his medical degree from the University of Naples; in 2002, he specialized in Otolaryngology at the same university. In 2006, at the University of Milan, he performed a Level II university master's degree in Aesthetic and Morphodynamic Surgery.
Dr. Nardone from 2007 to 2018 practiced as a Level I medical director at the Otorhinolaryngology OU of the hospital company "Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo" then ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII.
Since 2018, he has been director of the UOC of Otolaryngology at ASST Bergamo Ovest in Treviglio.
As director of the Otorhinolaryngology UOC, he proposed and designed a new outpatient center at the Romano di Lombardia Hospital and reorganized all outpatient activities, also creating new outpatient clinics dedicated to pediatric ENT pathology, onco-dermatology and head and neck oncology, thyroid pathology and prosthetics.
Dr. Nardone is scientific leader of courses and working groups within ASST Bergamo-West on various topics including: "Total and partial laryngectomy: description and management," "Dysphagia: diagnosis and therapy."
He served as a board member of AOOI (Association of Italian Hospital Otolaryngologists) from 2018 to 2022.
He has authored 20 scientific publications in national international journals reviewed on MEd-Line and authored and co-authored unpublished papers in 2014 for the SIO national congress regarding petrous rock paraganliomas and in 2015 for the AOOI national congresses on neurinomas in Wait Scan and AIOLP on myringoplasties with cartilage.
Concluding his professional profile are numerous appearances at national and international congresses both as a participant and speaker.
