Dr. Daniele Marchina is an ophthalmologist at Life Clinic.
In 2015 he received his medical and surgical degree from the University of Brescia, in 2020 he specialized in ophthalmology at the University of Milan.
Dr. Marchina during his studies devoted himself to clinical and research activities in the field of glaucoma, medical retina and in particular the diagnosis and treatment of maculopathy and diabetic retinopathy.
In 2019, he obtained at the ETC- ESASO Training Centre in Lugano the EVR1- ESASO VITREO RETINAL 1 certificate, which certifies theoretical and practical skills in the field of vitreo-retinal surgery.
Since 2021, Dr. Marchina has been working as a permanent medical director at the O.U. of Ophthalmology at the Pope John XXIII Hospital in Bergamo dealing mainly with glaucoma, corneal pathology, medical retina, cataract and retinal surgery.
Since 2021, he has also collaborated with Centro Oculistico Bresciano where he has refined and practiced the most modern and innovative refractive surgery methods such as PRK, FEMTO-LASIK, SMILE, ICL implantation, and cataract surgery with premium IOLs (EDOF, toric, and multifocal)
He is a member of several scientific societies, including SOI (Italian Ophthalmological Society), S.I.GLA (Italian Glaucoma Society), SI.TRA.C (Italian Society of Cornea and Ocular Surface Transplants), SOL (Lombardy Ophthalmological Society) and A.I.M.O (Italian Association of Ophthalmic Physicians).
Dr. Marchina has been a sub investigator for numerous clinical trials related to the treatment of glaucoma, maculopathies, and ocular surface diseases
Finally, he has authored and co-authored numerous publications in national and international journals.
