Dr. Luciano Minelli is a pediatric surgeon at Life Clinic.

He earned his degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Turin in 1978, and subsequently, in 1985, he completed his residency in pediatric surgery at the University of Verona.

Since 1979, Dr. Minelli has worked continuously, collaborating closely with Dr. Giuseppe Locatelli and making a decisive contribution to the establishment and scientific development of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, first at the Ospedali Riuniti in Bergamo and later at the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII. Thanks in part to his invaluable contribution, this department is now a center of excellence, recognized at the highest levels both nationally and internationally.

In 2005, he was awarded the title of Advanced Specialist in Pediatric Surgery in recognition of the professional and scientific expertise he had acquired throughout his career. In 2011, he was appointed Director of the Pediatric Surgery Department at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, a role in which he promoted the clinical, scientific, and organizational growth of the department.

Throughout his career, Dr. Minelli has gained extensive professional experience in the field of pediatric surgery, ranging from general surgery to thoracic, abdominal, and urological surgery in newborns and children. He has also performed pediatric oncological surgeries.

Dr. Minelli has actively participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences and symposia, contributing to the dissemination and advancement of knowledge in the field of pediatric surgery. He is also the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in specialized journals.

Dr. Luciano Minelli is one of Italy’s leading pediatric surgeons, with over 40 years of clinical and surgical experience dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of surgical conditions in newborns, children, and adolescents.

His practice encompasses both general pediatric surgery and the treatment of complex congenital malformations, with a particular focus on minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques.
