Dr. Giulio Leopardi

Dr. Leopardi Giulio is an ophthalmologist at Life Clinic.

In 1979 he received his medical degree from the University of Milan, and in 1983 he specialized in Ophthalmology at the same university.

For nearly two decades, Dr. Leopardi has been head of the Ophthalmology Operating Unit at Policlinico San Pietro in Ponte San Pietro, in the province of Bergamo, Italy.

Dr. Leopardi has extensive surgical experience with a wide variety of instrumentation for various areas of specialized eye surgery, gained over the years by participating in training courses including abroad between Europe and the United States.

Since 1991, Dr. Leopardi has been using excimer lasers for the correction of refractive defects and has considerable experience in laser treatments of glaucoma with YAG laser and SLT. He has also used holmium laser for glaucoma surgery, noninvasive tear duct surgery, and hypermetropia correction since 1992.

Dr. Leopardi is also very active as an Organizer and Speaker of National Congresses on major surgical techniques in all fields of Ophthalmology, and since 2016 with Dr. Kacerik he has been organizing a Congress called Bergoftalmologica.
