Hematologist - Oncologist
Dr. Andrea D'Alessio is a hematologist and oncologist at Life Clinic.
He received his medical and surgical degree from the University of Pavia in 1991, and later, in 1997, he obtained his specialization in hematology at the same university.
In 2014 he obtained an additional specialization in medical oncology at the University Milano Bicocca.
Dr. D'Alessio has been in charge of the onco-hematology medicine department and oncology DH at the San Marco Polyclinic in Zingonia since 2007.
He and his staff take care of the patient at all stages, ranging from the diagnostic process to treatment, from the treatment of complications to long-term follow-up.
Special attention is paid to the diagnosis, treatment of oncological, hematological and thromboembolic diseases by administering the best recognized therapies in adherence to the guidelines of the National and International Associations of Oncology and Hematology.
Dr. D'Alessio is very active in social work, as he organizes volunteer service in the oncology field, and in teaching, as, in 2015, he was a member of the faculty council of the School of Specialization in Medical Oncology University of Milan Bicocca and since 2021 he has been Coordinator of the Teaching Morphological and Functional Foundations of Life of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing course at the University Vita e Salute HSR Sede di Ponte San Pietro. Finally, he serves as Adjunct Professor at the University Vita e Salute HSR Sede di Ponte San Pietro.
Dr. D'Alessio is also very active as an organizer and speaker at conferences for the training of healthcare personnel and the various publications in national and international journals.
