Dr. Camillo Foresti

Neurologist

Dr. Foresti is a Neurologist and Neurophysiologist at Life Clinic.

In 1990 he received his medical degree from the University of Milan, in 1994 he specialized at the University of Pavia in Neurology and in 1999 at the same university in Neurophysiopathology.

Dr. Foresti is very active in teaching and research activities; in fact, he is an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan-Bicocca for the Neurology course and is in charge of the Training Center for Clinical Neurophysiology in Bergamo.

He is a member of SINC (Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology) and SNO (Society of Hospital Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Neuroradiologists).

Dr. Foresti is an expert in all electrophysiological methods (EEG, EMG and PE), annually performing and reporting a large number of them, from 1000 to 2000 examinations.

In the interdisciplinary perspective, he is carrying out a project on the neurophysiological strudio of the perineal plane in collaboration with urologist, proctologist, gynecologist and the rehabilitator. The study aims to go beyond the diagnostic stage of complex pathologies of the pelvic area, instead taking an interest in their treatment.

He has been dealing with movement disorders for years, running (the only one in the province of Bergamo) an outpatient clinic dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of dystonias and corelate movement disorders, with treatments that follow all steps: from systemic therapy, to local chemodenervation with botulinum toxin, to stereotactic surgical treatment by Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).

Her professional profile is completed by numerous appearances at national and international congresses both as a participant and speaker, and several publications in national and international journals.
